Yoga is one of the best ways to move breath and process feelings and emotions through our bodies. It’s a practice that grounds you into the present moment and prepares your body and mind for samadhi, which many consider to be the ultimate end “goal” for all spiritual work. My personal philosophy is that yoga is an intensely personal practice and my teaching focuses on developing a strong foundation in poses and creating a welcoming space where everyone feels seen.

Yoga nidra means “yogic sleep” and is the practice of relaxing consciously. It doesn’t involve the asanas, or poses, that you typically think of when someone says yoga, but is more of a guided meditation or a guided journey. Through a series of specific relaxation techniques, the central nervous system and central channel awakens the brain completely and allows you to connect to another level of awareness.
I don’t currently have any regular yoga nidra classes on the calendar, but if you’d like a private session (can be done in person or over the phone/Skype), please reach out for more information.
Reiki is a relaxation and healing technique that involves a practitioner channeling life force energy and placing their hands in a variety of positions over the client’s body. The energy does not come from the practitioner but flows through them. Reiki is spiritual but there is no religion or dogma attached to it, so anyone can benefit from it. You can find more information about reiki and what a session entails here.
Reiki can be done in person or long-distance and it’s just as effective either way. If you’d like to set up a reiki appointment, please reach out for more information.
